This is the first Coyote Oldman recording from 1986. One of the first North American style flute recordings nationally available, it features simple songs of nature and the ground breaking emergence sound of Coyote Oldman. The CD reissue has been digitally remastered and includes four tracks not available on the cassette release.

Coyote Oldman Night Forest CO-1
originally released on cassette in 1986
Coyote Oldman is an exploration
into music of the spirit. The elusive flowing
melodies of flute player/maker Michael
Graham Allen combine with the
compositionally rich soundscapes of
engineer/musician Barry Stramp in this,
the first of the Coyote Oldman recordings.
The music of Coyote Oldman does not belong to
a particular time, culture or belief. This
music belongs to all who hear with their
hearts and understand.
